Meet the Team

Mike Hatchett is a life-long resident of Semora, North Carolina. In his spare time he trains his German Wirehair Pointers and pursues wild game on land and water. He and his wife, Brooke, are expecting their daughter, Chandler, in January 2023.

Prior to founding Pointer Property Services, Mike worked with Brady Services for the last fifteen years as an HVAC Technician concentrating on the service and installation of commercial chillers. He also has approximately 20 years of experience with plumbing, electrical, and various other facets of home repair and maintenance.  Mike has a reputation for an innate ability, amplified by a depth of experience, to quickly solve problems, and he stands ready to find a solution for your property.

Rachel Groce was raised in Semora, North Carolina, and currently resides in Roxboro with her husband Brent of 13 years, and their two children Wilkes (4) and Nora (3). Rachel loves to travel, however, she relishes summer nights eating popsicles on the porch with her family, or meeting her friends for a girls’ night out.

Prior to founding Pointer Property Services, Rachel graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill in December 2008 with B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communication and worked for almost five years in financial services at a local credit union. She obtained her Master’s in Accounting from N.C. State University in 2015, and she immediately joined the assurance practice at Pricewaterhousecoopers until April 2022. Rachel is a licensed NC Real Estate Broker and Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Rachel looks forward to employing her exacting eyes, honed by her professional experience in financial services and public accounting, to maintain and bolster your property.
